Some more bad news on the imjury front this week. William Winter, Starting Gaurd and captain will be out for the an unconfirmed amount of time do to an issue with his heart. After being rushed to hospital in the early hours, he is back at home and things are not serious however will keep him out of any physical activity for a while.

An excellent team victory against the Sharks tonight was overshaddowed by new Boy John Iji suffering a serious injury which will require surgery later next week. He will be out for around three months.

the whole club was saddened by the news and want to wish John all the best and a speedy reovery.

With a great season opener and some good perforamces from all the new members including a welcomed return of former and now current Hawk Chris Bingham, the hawks started their season with a blow-out win over the Cougers.

The Captains William & Dre both had huge praise for the guys work rate and commitment. Winning the league is are goal this season and with this group of guys there is no excuses for us achieving anything ess - William Winter
